About

FOI Poland

In 1963 The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry’s work began in Poland.

The Friends of Israel’s heart is close to Poland. Our first executive director, Dr. Victor Buksbazen was born in Poland and lived there before making his way to the United States. Since 1963 we have had a worker present in the country.

Today, more than 50 years later, the ministry continues to thrive. Our workers are busy traveling throughout Eastern Europe taking supplies and medicine to Jewish people in need, holding Bible studies, and bringing hope to many countries of the former Soviet Union. They are also working hard to reverse the spread of anti-Semitism in Poland and surrounding areas by investing in the young people through children’s Bible camps and trips to to Israel.
